Were you able to figure out how to relocate the AYC pump?
I know that it's a year later, but sometimes real life puts car stuff on hold.

I had my pump relocated by two guys in Racine, Wisconsin. They did a fantastic job, let me help and learn, and were hilarious the entire time (a la Click and Clack). I drove 4.5 hours each way for this and would say that it was worth at least 6 hours each way for the peace of mind and good work.

So nice to have S-AWC again (after more than a year), but I did learn a bit driving with two open diffs.

so my 4wd system service light is also on and has been on for a while. Is my ayc pump done for? I have a 12 gsr with 28k miles, and i'm not sure if it would be covered by my warranty.

Should be covered, but, in case you're in the east side of the state, don't go to Zimmerman. Go anywhere else. Anywhere.

When a pump starts to die, sometimes it makes pressures within the time limit; sometimes it doesn't.

Yes, you can drive with a dead pump. I did so for more than a year. Just pull the power to the motor, in case the motor can be saved.

So the 4wd n ASC ssr indicator came back on... so if I disconnect it, will the indicator still he showing up?..really don't want tto damage the car till I get the part. And my front struts are really bad and making noises while I drive, could that be a reason why this is going off?

I doubt they're related in any way other than being two parts of a Mitsubishi.

Cut the power to the pump to save the motor. Yes, you'll have the warning all the time until you fix it. (You get used to it after a few months....)

OP i had the flat tire every day thing going on and it ended up being a hair line crack in the side of the threads for the tpms sensor.

Hope that helps the one issue.

Same thing happened on my car about a week ago. Got it fixed by Mitsubishi and it turned out to be a bad wheel speed sensor.

They also did the recall.
