4WD system service required?!
I had my pump relocated by two guys in Racine, Wisconsin. They did a fantastic job, let me help and learn, and were hilarious the entire time (a la Click and Clack). I drove 4.5 hours each way for this and would say that it was worth at least 6 hours each way for the peace of mind and good work.
So nice to have S-AWC again (after more than a year), but I did learn a bit driving with two open diffs.

Should be covered, but, in case you're in the east side of the state, don't go to Zimmerman. Go anywhere else. Anywhere.
4wd service sys. req. keeps coming on/off
Why does my 4wd ssr light come on and then dissappear. Today it was raining pretty heavily and I was driving in this and then boooom it came on and then it went off and then it came on and then off n again...though it doesn't stay on but why is this?
Please help
Please help
So the 4wd n ASC ssr indicator came back on... so if I disconnect it, will the indicator still he showing up?..really don't want tto damage the car till I get the part. And my front struts are really bad and making noises while I drive, could that be a reason why this is going off?
I doubt they're related in any way other than being two parts of a Mitsubishi.
Cut the power to the pump to save the motor. Yes, you'll have the warning all the time until you fix it. (You get used to it after a few months....)
