Did you sell it? Are you keeping it just in case you need to go back to stock?

I plan on keeping mine. Never know when you may need it. Was just curious as to how many actually sell off their OEM parts.

 

Kept it all. Figured it might be helpful for a number of reasons, and selling stock parts just feels lame to me, I'd rather just loan them out short term if someone needs to troubleshoot something.

 

Keep them, if you ever sell the car it's good to have them all...

Sell them all, I am never selling the car, I don't have the space to store stock parts and the stock parts help pay for more aftermarket.

 

Oh yeah I hear ya. I don't ever plan on selling my car either but you never know how things can change. It's just nice to have the option to go back.

Aren't OEM parts pretty pricey to buy if you need it?

 

Keep them for emissions reason. Every two year i need to do an emission test on my Evo. So every Two year i need to put my stock setup back so i can pass

 

Yeah, if you can't find the OE part you need here on the forums, you'll be stuck going to Mitsu, and that will burn like the clap.

If I kept all of my stock parts my apartment would be full lol. I have a few here and there, but mostly sold. I have also donated a few to friends, like the stock coils, radiator few others. If I would have kept my stock exhaust for instance I would have dragged it around for the past 9 years lol. What the heck am i going to do with that stuff make an art montage? I understand guys like /\ that need to put back for emissions, or if you plan on selling it at some point. However for me, I will never need my stock parts back. I just assume to replace parts with stronger aftermarket parts if necessary. My Evo is not my DD though, it will be a track only car at some point.

I kept it all, they're just sitting around. I thought about selling it but I'm too lazy and don't want to ship. I don't plan on selling the car.
