Fmic side spats.

Does anyone know where I can find pics without the black side spat things covering the sides of the fmic. Debating to take them off or leave them on but trying to see how it'll look with a stock fmic lol thanks

Leave those on man, it looks like **** without them.

The evo x has a nice looking front end, keep it that way.

I agree with V8 ^ However, let me also add:

When you remove the end-tank covers you're also allowing the airflow at the front of the car to go elsewhere, other than through the intercooler (it prevents a high pressure front), thus decreasing the efficiency of the FMIC.

So, by removing them, you're actually decreasing how well your FMIC works. Function > Aesthetics (even though I'm with V8, looks like crap without them, IMO )

Good point, I forgot all about that.

Removing them has no benefit, and only negative effects.

You being in Texas also, an efficient FMIC is very important, especially in the summer.

This advice sounds spot on.
