Hit the curb :...( Need help pls

Hello people

So today i was driving around a bend going down hill. I was probably going 5-10 mph and the car slide. The passenger side hit the curb. When i went out to check the problem, only the rim was scratched. :,,,( Then i drove the car a bit and the AWC service light came on, also the steering wheel is not align. For example, the car is only straight when it is 11 o'clock and 5 o'clock :,...(. When the steering wheel is 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock it feels like the car didn't turn.

Also the curb is lower than the front bumper so that is why there is no exterior damage.

Please give me advice.
I was thinking about calling insurance and tell them about the minor accident but if it is only alignment issue i will just take it in to mitsubishi :,(

Thanks :...(

Ok, further update, I just drove the car to 30mph and car does not seen to be wobbling. The only issue is that the steering wheel is not matching up the the actual steering.

Get an alignment and see if that helps. I doubt you did any serious damage at 5 mph, unless you hit the curb straight on.

not hard at all, like 5-10 mph, maybe near the 5 mph. I panic on the turn and hit the breaks really hard and the car slide. Thank god there is no body damage. Also these stock rims are tough.

I am defiantly going to get a alignment tomorrow morning.

If anything you probably bent the LCA.

While it's getting an alignment, have the tech look at the suspension to make sure.

If this is true and you slid, you were probably traveling at more than 5-10 mph and you may have done more damage.

My guess would be that you didn't hit the curb squarely from the side and it's going to be the tie-rod on that side. Check for a bulge in the sidewall of the tire, too.

the tire is fine, it is not losing air.

Eeeek. Slid the rear wheel of my Ralliart into a curb in its first month. Ended up having to the bearing. Wheel was perfectly fine aside from scratches.

Not to belabor the obvious but I suggest the car is a bit broken... LCA, or knuckle (maybe the bearing too, but I'd be surprised.) You may want to drive it a bit less until you get it fixed, and certainly don't drive it fast.

If the ASC ECU is reading that the steering wheel is turned but all four tires are turning the same speed and the lateral g-sensor also says that the car is going straight ahead, you will get an AWC code. Fix the alignment and, odds are, the light will go out.

And stop driving the car.
