Was this a insurance claim or did you take it to someone. New engine harness is 875.00, they should have just replaced it if it was a claim. Patch jobs usually don't last long depending on weather conditions.

I took it in under warranty to manfredi mitsu assuming the harness melted at first, however after the pointed out that it was chewed on by rodents and said warranty would not cover it i agreed to pay to have it fixed. The insurance has a 500 deductible and I somehow didn't think about replacing the whole harness...now im thinking i shouldve made an insurance claim and replaced the whole engine bay harness. Btw the white smoke is gone now and car seems to be back to normal, guess i flooded it while trying to start it without gas pedal floored. Still that shady harness job has me worried now...

Does anyone have a part number for a complete engine bay harness ? Is the MR harness any different from GSR?

Here is a link to the front harnesses. Looks like the engine harness is only 368.00 for a MR. Look under electrical then wire harness at the bottom.

Thank you so much!

PS: The problems aren't going away, car feels low on power in pre boost rpm range shifts too early even when going uphill, I hear bov flutter (not normal on a stock car), and top it all off I can smell coolant from my exhaust after WOT. I am suspecting dealer beat the **** out of the car and blew my headgasket.
