Looking for some feedback on this. The paint actually came out pretty crappy so I am re-doing it this coming weekend, but I think the images show the intent that I am persuing. What do you guys think?

Is that white? I think the lights are giving it an orangish look. When I opened the thread I was worried, but it doesn't look too bad. I wouldn't do it though.

Actually love the idea! If it's not perfect I'd redo it, but I like the look.

 

Looks pretty ricey. I think the matte black that's there looks fine.

 

Not trying to be mean, but I don't think it looks good at all. I think it is too much orange and it doesn't seem you have orange elsewhere. It also seems to clash with the bronze wheels.

I suppose it does give the front end a bit of depth, but I'm not feeling it.

 

Not a bad idea. For whatever reason, it reminds me airplanes and jet engines.

 

I'm a supporter. but I don't like the Orange. when I opened it up it looks like white with orange tint from a street light. I'd love mid day pictures to really see the color. I really dug it whtie, then I saw that it's actually orange and I stopped.

Nice concept though, it's original, which after 5 years from the release of the x, to see something so simple, and original, and attractive, is awesome!

 

Not my taste, but if you're happy w/ it then that's all that matters.

I actually think that looks good! Reminds me of the Aston Martin "lipstick" and the Porsche GT3RS. I say get your mirrors painted to match.

 

That's exactly the look I was going for. I'll consider painting the mirrors. I'd like to get a smaller set first thought since the evo's mirrors are like barn doors. Any thoughts on available mirror options?

 

Painted Ganador mirrors would probably look good.. that, and a thin matching vinyl windshield visor, like on the green DBR9 above, would tie it all together nicely.

Definitely need to pick a different accent color, though.. either something that blends in better, like a matte silver or grey.. or something that really pops, like a fluorescent neon orange or green, or something.

 

Sorry, not a fan at all. It belittles your car. Porsche, etc. can get away with it. Evo's can't. I say 'murder' it...BLACK.
