Need exhaust advice

Just got my 2013 gsr and I am looking for a cat back exhaust. I want something that sounds mean and isn't too expensive. Nothing more than 700 is my price range. I am looking at the single tip as well. Any advice on where to buy it/and get it install would be nice to know as well! Thanks

There are plenty of threads on here comparing exhausts. Just search them out.

Install on a cat-back is ridiculously easy, you can save a lot on labor from there by doing it yourself. I have a GReddy Ti-C, I think I paid like $715 for it from MAP. I love it.

funny I was also going to recommend the Greddy Comp TiC. I've had them on both my X's. Excellent exhaust. I'm running an HKS HiPower right now tho.

I've heard good things about the Invidia N1, a few people have it around my area and it's probably the least expensive exhaust I've seen for the X - just under $500 from MAP.

I had a friend with it. It wasn't bad at all, just louder than the GReddy because the Ti-C has the resonator in it.

My friend has a ams single exit catback exhaust and ams test pipe. Sounds pretty mean when he steps on the gas but is pretty quiet at idle compared to my ets v2 catback.

I bought both mine used on the forums, saved a boatload. I sold my last one for $375.

I've got the dual fart can HKS HiPower now
I love it though. Sounds more subdued.

If you plan to install a catback (which is probably the easiest thing ever) and it's a full 3 inch be prepared to make some adjustments to where the cat meets the midpipe.

I had to cut some of the sheet metal off which was a PITA in my opinion.
