If he uses the new V400 map it won't support his intake so he will need a pro-tuner to dial that in anyway

I'd go for a tune and a tactrix 2.0...download the free evoscan software...best investment youll make. Cobb AP are overrated... there software doesnt support certain modifications specifically certain brands. And it supports the tef mod...a win for sure...

To be honest a 3-port doesnt really benefit on the factory set up and is honestly a waste of money. The factory boost controller is more than capable of holding steady boost and as long as the tuner isgood enough to tune it. Look at the dyno threads of near stock vics tuned without a 3port...boost holds fairly well and is progressivly linear. Unless your upgrading the factory turbo I wouldnt bother with one. Anything over 27psi is overspinning the turbine and shortening the life of the turbo...not to mention thats its limit. Exhaust and tune...intake and tune...tactrix cable and tune... whatever but not a 3port....its a waste

Alot of supportive answers here. The car has tint and I already installed springs so I'm looking more towards performance. I like the idea of a tune but I don't want to have to keep tuning in the future for each mod. It's itching me everyday that I need to do something to this car so I'm gonna read y'all's responses and pull the trigger on something here soon

Deff get a Cobb AP, Seriously the best bang for your buck and you have unlimited tuneability with it!! I love mine. I would also get a TB next and run stage 2!

If your going for performance then tune is the best thing you can do with your money because anything you get done to it will to be recommended to get tuned anyway. What you can do is save the money till you can all afford all the mods you plan on purchasing and then tune, set a powe goal.

best bang for your buck is test pipe and tune. you really do not need to get a full exhaust, especially the downpipe (it gives you more trouble than good, i.e. smog)

This is gonna go on forever with 1000 different answers.

Do some research and YOU decide what you want to spend your $700 on.

Or you can always call your local tuner and ask them for advice.
