Personally, I think this would be amazing and I would buy it. Please make this and PM with your Paypal info...

Turns out, we all owe Jerm a huge apology. The latest research shows that when four ethanol molecules evaporate, the negative latent heat of vaporization of ethanol (which you all know about implicitly, from how easy it is for ethanol to evaporate, even if you don't understand the chemistry involved) is sufficient to cause the four ethanol molecules to form new covalent bonds with each other, becoming one molecule of octane plus four molecules of water. In other words, Jerm is totally correct that ethanol, when it evaporates, releases - or, if you wish: becomes - water.

So, again, my deepest apologies, Jerm. I hang my head in shame.

Even so, I doubt that reaction is driven in that direction. Equilibrium will probably always favor the other end of that reaction.

But yes in this case, I too hang my head in shame. Good thing I'm not a chemist

I don't think you understand the nature of globalization and economics, it's not as simple as our pigs are hungry cuz of ethanol

Lucas is great stuff

Startron will be gone in a year, just like all the fuel pellet filters and additives and yada yada that came before them. No harm bro, let's not get emotional about fuel additives.

Ok im wrong about pigs starving point is ethanol is worthless an it's ruining all different kinds of motors out there gumming up gas tanks an injectors especially in older car engines an they wanna up the ethanol to 15% ok now we will see HUGE problems if that happens end of story.....Yous were wrong about some things an soo was i i admitted now like i said can we move on from this

I agree about lucas but what people get confused is the difference between their regular heavy duty stabilizer which i think is garbage an will not run in my evo but i will run their fully synthetic oil stabilizer an to be honest i think my turbo loves it its not as thick as the regular that i think people waste their money why not just go up a weight in oil? The synthetic stuff looks like KY JELLY

I got a chance to read some more (motivated by my embarrassment [see above]). You know the way that most brake fluid is hygroscopic - meaning that it attracts water - ? Well, water is the most hygroscopic fluid there is (because of the special bonds that are formed in liquid water), such that, once the process of ethanol breaking down into octane and water via evaporation begins, it accelerates faster and faster, until it all has been converted.

Now that this is beginning to be understood, I predict one of two things: a new form of fuel stabilizer will be produced to prevent this from happening or E85 is going the way of the dinosaur. The latter would be preferred, I guess, given what E85 is doing to the price of food.

Makes ya think don't it? We can't even work on newer cars now a days bc we need to buy expensive tools for one time use these car company's are gonna rape Americans an force us to take the car to them (dealerships)to be repaired no more back yard fixers older cars are soooo easy to work on compared to new cars today its to much technology an here's another I'm gonna use ford as an example bc i read this article anyways guy takes his new ford to dealership for warranty work but wait ford denied the warranty bc he had a wix oil filter on an not a motorcraft he went to court beat ford an this is happening to all dealerships if u don't use the recommended OIL warranty is voided what happens if e10 goes to 15% an ruins our cars will warranty cover it ohh I highly doubt it......I don't hate E85 but its putting a hurting on us same with e10.....But the government will always know more then us an hide things from us it's gonna be an interesting couple years up coming.....Ps that's my opinion no drama intended either people agree or disagree

Ethanol spontaneously turning into octane and water?

"negative latent heat of vaporization"?

"hygroscopic water"?

Com'on, sheeple. Check your bloody calendars!

tee hee

ps. I thought apologizing to Mr. "I don't want no drama or science" was the big give-away
