If you run snow tires for rallycross, then you only need to shrink the front brakes and then get 16" wheels. But if you want gravel tires, you must shrink the front and rear brakes and get 15"s.
I thought you could also use 16 and 17 inch rims in rallycross?! i have a set avon acb11 rallycross tyres in my garage. I picked them up cheap in case I ever got around to trying rallycross

You can use anything you want for US (SCCA) rallycross. Heck, go ahead and run your OE Advans on 18" wheels, tee hee. What we're talking about are real gravel tires. They only come in 15".

ps. the term "rallycross" means something completely different in Europe; you linked to tires for a mix of pavement and dirt. Those do conform to the FIA run of no wider than 225 mm and no taller than 65 cm.

I would love to get the AMS Stage 2 Kit, but need to spend my funds elsewhere.

Can I be blunt? ACB11s are going to suck for grass-o-cross. Any halfway decent snow tire would be better.

Go for it man, be as blunt as you want. Like I said I picked them up fr dirt cheap. That's the only reason I've got them

I just can't wait to get the tune done. If I can't make some power with this car it's not worth having lol.

I've put on an intake an test pipe so far. Actually have to finish the install today. Once those are on I'm going to schedule a tuning appointment. Then install the manual boost controller the night before. For what it's worth I put in an AEM boost gauge and wideband. I've only had it for about two months now so I'm working on it. My wedding is in a month so money has been a bit tight lol. I'm also looking into ordering a bunch of different torque solutions bushings. I've heard they make driveability night and day better.

The bushings will definitely help man, especially during more "spirited" driving. I have upgraded bushings on my Evo 9 and let me tell you it made the driveability on street much sharper. On the track it gave me more peace of mind that the parts I enhanced were much more safe and secure. and a intake, test pipe, and mbc is a good start man. after this when you get some more money I say finish up the exhaust with the muffler section and a downpipe (the ets eliminator downpipe dump is boss). From there intercooler and piping. all that plus a tune equals once fun little street car best of luck

Yes. To be clear: why a manual and not a good 3-port?

Couldn't tell you man. I run a mbc on my evo 9 and I haven't had a single issue with it.
