wow, brave man. I haven't put sea foam in the evo yet, but I put it in the tank of my truck to clean the injectors and had white smoke everywhere I drove for awhile.

I've haven't personally used it on vaccum lines yet. But Here's a video that may shead some light.

Just use water. Same effect and free. I've cleaned many engines this way. Always amazing the crap that shoots out the tail pipe.

You can run it off your brake master cylinder vacuum line too.

From what I heard Sea foam eats gaskets. I wouldn't use too much. Maybe 1/4 or 1/5 of the bottle into the vacuum lines.

Quite fun though, I did it in my G35 and drove around the street! Smelled like crap though.

Anyone try this new STP product?

http://www.stp.com/products/multipur...se-vs-seafoam/

STP® Multipurpose Motor Treatment is better than SeaFoam® and Sta-bil® at Stabilizing Fuel and Fighting Friction

For Engines in Use

Great for the fuel system, crankcase and intake, STP® Multipurpose Motor Treatment helps:

Clean engine deposits and fight friction
Clean fuel injectors and intake valves
Protect against viscosity build up
Protect against crankcase sludge
Prevent fuel line freeze by removing water
Provide upper cylinder lubrication

Use regularly to protect and maintain all of your gas and diesel engines.

I thought SeaFoam was the standard in this field? And I doubt that STPs solution is really that much better.
I do like SeaFoam because its 100% petroleum and the most I have ever heard after thorough research is it fouling up spark plugs and cats. I've used it on many cars without any of these happening.
As with any engine cleaner you can never be too careful though, especially with a new product.
