SSP undertray
Yeah, I have to give it a
. Install wasn't bad, instructions were a little thin, but if you're reasonably handy its an easy job. Decent access for oil filter and drain, good fitment and coverage. I have no idea what this "jack point" is, instructions don't mention anything about that. Also don't mention that the three rear bolt holes go between the frame and crossmember, but it is very clear that there is no other way to go. Trimming the fender liners was easy, pictures for that are pretty good.
Thanks SSP and Nate from MAP from a happy customer!

There's a removable cover over the front center jack point... that's what they meant when they said the jack point was maintained, the original undertray had no access to it, meaning it had to come off in order to jack the car up with it, now you just drop the little protective plate.
See where the jack point is,

Compare where the protective plate sits

There access to the oil pan drain bolt (left open), the oil filter, and then the jack point, no?
That's why Iowa999 was concerned about the terminology... you can't jack the car up using any point of the ~2mm thick aluminum.

OK, thanks for clearing that up. I did wonder why they had the access panel there...
On another note, have you had any issues with the rubber grommets on the access panels? One corner of my jack point panel doesn't want to stay flush with the tray. After I drive for a while it hangs down about 3/8 of an inch even though I have tightened the crap out of it.

Haven't had any issues with those yet, and mine were tightened with a cordless impact driver (given not much torque behind that one), is it possible you've got the one corner installed on the wrong side or even upside down? Maybe pull it off and see if the rubber around the threads is wearing.
Said Iowa can now add another concern, which applies regardless of whether you use the above for tarmac or grass-o-cross: every one of those bolts should be replaced with a hex-drive button-heads. It's nuts (as it were) to have all those exposed, jutting, square-sided bolt-heads.
Anybody else have new experience with these? My under tray tore into 3 pieces after running over chunks of ice in a recent storm. Just looking for a few more opinions before I drop $400+ on this piece of aluminum sheeting.
It's nothing amazing or weird.
It just replaces your oem undertray with a more durable sheet of aluminum. If you have a broken oem undertray and would like something more durable (or for those who care, something that looks better), buy this. Or if you don't want to spend the $400, you could always source a used oem undertray.
