Don't Wreck Your EVO!
nah I completely understand, that type of endeavor would not be for the faint of heart and you would want deep pockets, to the OP maybe test the waters for the next day or two and see if anyone is really interested in buying the car from you before you decide to buy it back or let it go?
Cliff notes:
don't let your son drive your car - he'll wreck it, which is bad
no, actually, you can make money from having your car wrecked, so go ahead and let him drive it
but I don't want to deal with the hassle of buying the car back and parting it out
blah, blah, blah
the technical is strong with this thread

I will buy it where is this impound lot and the number? Who ever said make it into a track car it's a rally car my friend gut it fix it so it drives strait and take that bad boy off road it's a little hard to take a $35,000 + evo off road but a $4000 evo is a no brainer. These cars deserve to die the way they were made to upside down in a ditch off a gravel road in the woods. That right there is some cheap fun if you ask me.

it wouldn't be cheap he is obviously right about that, but it would be a hell of a lot of fun!
Just speaking from the heart and a little experience.
...seriously tho, glad no one was hurt, at the end of the day, cars can be replaced, family can't
