Swapped OEM HID bulb but having issues

Hello everyone,

I swapped the OEM HID bulbs which are D2s with 6000k bulbs. For some reason the bulbs turns off by itself after 30 seconds or so. Both headlights turn off even though switch is in on position. When I turn off the switch they will come on and then turn off after 30 seconds or so. Anyways knows what the issue is?

Thanks for the help. Appreciate it.

Is your car a 2006? You may get more help if you post this in the VIII/IX section

Does it do it if you swap back the original bulbs? Might be bad ballast
