While trying to find a solution to the notchy 3rd gear engagement, I found this manual page, notice how there are two different measures in two different manuals, in the top of that manual one said "4B11 DOHC MIVEC engine" and one just said "4B11 engine", are these different engines or was it again a difference in manual writing ?!

Secondly, how are you supposed to adjust that distance? Because these seem to be fixed bolts. Does the cable have an adjustment or something ?

 

if you find all the gears, you shouldn't adjust the cable. The 3rd gear problem very unlikely a cable issue.

 

3rd is the notchy one but in 1st and 2nd I feel it slides harder, I think this one is because it reached a margin.

Edit: There are tons of topics with the shifting issues; now I am just curious to know if the cable is adjustable or what do they mean in the above manual pages.
