Crazy KBB value...
We'll sell a car for whatever we think a customer will pay for it. Sometimes KBB and NADA are thousands of dollars apart. So, if we know we can get a higher dollar for it, then we may also pay more for it than NADA would say to do.
^Mods you have done to a car do not add value. Bottom line is it's a 13 year old car with decent miles on it. I just saw a 2000 Type R locally that was full blown and 60k miles for 10k.
My evo blue books at 23k for an 05 with 26k on the clock. I'd say thats a fair number, no?

But yea Evos hold good value as well, BUT for some reason I see higher retaining values in STI online..
I remember being obsessed with the Type R. Now I know its definitely not worth 15k. It may be an iconic and extremely rare car( which is what you're paying for really ) but for 15k its not worth it. Sheit a brand new Evo X GSR is knocking on 40k and thats not even worth it.
