I had a hi-power on my STI and it sounded amazing. I'm not personally a fan of the sound of it on the X though.

Haha, thanks man. This was an absolute nightmare to install. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER do a downpipe again. I will pay someone next time. The setup made an night and day difference from stock though. Idk if the gains are 100 hp but they were significant. Car feels very strong.

I have not had the car dyno'ed but it feels strong. My only issue is the fitment of the exhaust and the intake. The Intake bracket definitely is not compatible with my 2013. They tell you to take out the stock intake bracket to make room for theirs but, at least on the 2013, the stock intake bracket is also the LICP bracket. Also, the exhaust just doesnt look right to me. The tips seem too low and they stick out farther than I thought they would. Also, the mid-pipe hangs a lot lower to the ground than I would have expected where it passes under the rear suspension. I am going to contact Cobb and inquire about these two things. Beyond that, its a great package, minus the PITA install of the downpipe, but that isnt Cobb's fault

I'll be installing a complete Cobb Stage 3++ (as I call it) plus Kracka shifter kit on a 2014 GSR this weekend

No problem, we'll document the process; I've never experienced fitment issues with any Cobb parts I've installed in the past.

dont the tips and the mid pipe seem to be low or did I just see pics online with weird angles? Havent seen another cobb in person. That being said, this was the only way it would go on obviously..its solid and lined up with the factory hangers perfectly.

My Cobb catback sits pretty well flush. Did you post a pic that I'm not seeing?
