I have a 2011 GSR and i keep getting a cel p0101 i put a new maf in and same thing. also if i get the turbo to spool hard the car falls on its face and backfires. this could happen at any rpm. i have been looking everywhere for info and found nothing. anyone know whats going on??

The falling on it's face part seems like a boost leak to me, that is where I would start. Also, I was not familiar with that code and googled it and there seems to be a few threads you could check out.

Edit: First thread I looked at fixed the problem by not VTA

 

1slowX: if you really have a SD tune and also have this code, you need to talk to your tuner.

Nohandlbars: you can VTA without issue is you really are running SD
