ok check this out im planning on putting a closed circuit dvr in my car but i have some very specific wants/needs for this system lets test this sites tech savviness(i know its not a word....whatever)
1. the receiver and hhd need to be hidden completely from site (they do not have to be co-located)
2. use one of the open switch blocks to turn on the system
3. hide the wires for the love of god hide the wires
4. always have power to the system when the car turns on but is not necessarily recording
5. the IR receiver needs to be located somewhere where i can easily choose to start recording
6. have the video out go to my 7 inch in dash stereo

i have a vision for this and i wanted to see what suggestions my fellow lancer owners have to say. thanks guys

I know there is a hack on a gopro to set it up so u can have it record 24/7 plus now you can view and save videos right from your phone so no need to physically touch it which might let you hide it better
