front mount intercooler?

Hey guys have a question I just purchased a 2012 gsr the front mount intercooler is not positioned correctly. ( when looking at it sits about 3/4inches to the left, normally would be nice and flush with the bumber)

From what I see if it did move 3/4 inches right the lower icp would not fit.

I have checked the brackets, uip, and lower ip even brought it into local dealership

What they did was just take a digital pic and sent it to
mitsubishi.

Has anyone had an issue with this?

Only thing done to the car is catback exhaust everything else is stock

I will post pics shortly.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Did you purchase the car new? If so there should be no reason why the IC is off centered.

Take the front bumper off yourself and see if you can find the cause

Took the bumper off from what i'm seeing is that the mount that the IC sits on is bent and the mount for the uicp needs to be moved in order for the front mount to be centered.

pics will be added now

Maybe take it back to the dealer and get them to fix it for you.

I hope they didn't sell the car to you as completely stock and never modded. I'm thinking the car had an aftermarket IC and was switched back to stock. Or possibly it was in some kind of finder bender.

umm,

it's been a while since I've looked at my OEM FMIC, but I don't remember the LICP coming out of it at an angle like that.

There is a company that makes an aftermarket FMIC that sits off center. I can't recall which company.

Well either the car has been modded and slapped back together OR its been in an accident and things aren't lining up. Soooo either way its a ****ty outcome. Where did you buy it and what did they tell you?
