Flutter from BOV after letting off gas

Whenever I let off the gas, the BOV flutters or will go through a normal dump and then flutter. This problem started out of the blue as the car is tuned and had no previous problems than this random problem. The car is also not idling properly. I've checked connections that are visible from the top of the engine bay including the FPR hose and everything seems ok. My question is this: Is this a tuning problem or a hardware problem? I'm taking the car in to the shop soon but was wondering if this is a DIY fix. Thanks for any input.

My bone-stock (engine-wise) X flutters on a partial lift and I do not have a boost leak.

What kind of flutter is this? I get the same thing if I half lift at 1.5-2k rpm and Im stock minus the intake and exhaust. Is this bad for the turbo? I know there are different kinds of flutter but I'm not sure if this is the bad kind. Sorry if this is a threadjack.

If you're running the stocker with a tune it may have sprouted a leak over time? I just know that when I began a tune with the stock bov and targeted 26psi it couldn't hold anything. Leaked more than Snowden.

If it is surge then yes. What you are describing typically occurs in a high gear under high load I believe. If you can, downshift and don't put too much stress on the engine.

yup same here. I've had it looked at by my tuner and there's no issues.

I had a flutter and rough idle. Problem: boost/vaccum leak where the boost gauge tapped into. Solved with new fitting.

It can happen in any gear but I give it full load at 1.5k let off 2k gives a long flutter with a downward tune. It sounds so cool, but I dont want to do it if its causing damage. And this is on the stock BOV with ETS intake
