Thumbs down definitely not having car luck this year.. can anyone identify this part

So I was switching my tires over and when I went to lower my car the jack decided to fail and fall on ots side. A piece got damaged its a plastic cover of someone could tell me what it is and where to get ome would be greatly appreciated.

looks like your SST Oil Pan.


always use jack stands

yes, because when using a jack to lower a car back down you should also be using jack stands... genius!

Still a good reminder to use jack stands, could have been underneath when it happened, that was my point. I just kinda assumed that since the transmission got hit that there was no wheel on there. OP must not be using the side jacking points.

No, that's directly adjacent to the front jacking point.

I've had bad car karma this summer as well...the dumbest things have been happening for no reason! Hope you got your situation resolved and can forget about it now!
