Walbro 400 hose crimping?
Walbro 400 hose crimping?
Had anyone else with a WB400 had a similar issue?
A few weeks ago my car wasn't running right, and eventually I couldn't even start it.
Turns out the line in my WB400 had been pinched and eventually got severed. The fix was simple, clip the frayed end, and reattach. Car ran just fine afterwards.
However, now the car is starting to have trouble starting again. Very similar to what was happening before. I'm going to pull it and check again tomorrow when I have the day off.
The problem seems to be that they spot where the nose and pump connect is straight up and down. This means that when the pump is placed in the tank and everything is close up, it compresses in a way that seems to be pinching the line right above the clamp.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this issue? Perhaps some elbow shaped join?
