Walbro 400 issues

Has anyone else ever had a similar issue?

I have a Walbro 400, and twice now I've run in to this issue where the hose attached to the top of the pump becomes crimped. So much so that it sheers a hole through the hose.

The temporary fix (lasted about 6 months), was to clip off the end of the hose and reclamp the now fresh hose. But it's happening again. It's a 15 minute fix, but I don't really want to have to do this every 6 months.

Anyone know of a way to address this?

What kind of hose is it rubber? Can you tell what's causing it to crimp? Try attaching the with a zip tie, clamp, etc to keep it from moving?

I believe it's rubber. Not sure exactly what is crimping it. And it has a clamp on it by default.

Hate to be a PITA, but could you take a picture of it as well as the surrounding area? If it's a flimsy hose, you could try a thicker or simply more durable hose.
