time to start modding my mr

I bought a used mr a couple years ago and now tbat its out of warranty j wsnt to mod it. I bougjt it it with a aem boost controller installed but it is not set up to control boost just monitor. It also came with a lowering kit..and the muffler was also deleted . With hat bwing said do I go about the stanadard upgrade path
? I love the way my car sounds. Can I get away with just a aftermarket downpipe? Or is the cat too restrictive. And for under the hood I would like to go ets intake with uicp and licp piping? Can my bosst controlle hook up to this? I have the AP amd a mew tranny was just put In and I planning on putting on sum kind of tranny cooler. This is all I would like to do nothing more. I've been doing alot of reeading but its hard findimg answswers for a what to do in this particular position. And obviously I am not very mechanicallly inclined.sum oopinions or help would be greatly appreciated or even better the original owner would be great so I kno exac tly what was done to my car

Well, here is the issue even with many mods or good mods even with a E85 tune and pushing 28lbs on a stock turbo your looking at 350whp.
Thats what i have reason being the SST uses about 10% more than the Manual version.
So here is my mods list to give you an idea:
ETS 4" intercooler
ETS UICP
ETS Intake
CNT RACING TURBO BACK
SYNAPSE BOV
GRIMMSPEED BOOST CONTROLLER
GSC S2 CAMS/SPRINGS/RETAINERS
1100 CC INJECTORS
DW 265LPH FUEL PUMP
E-85 CONVERSION
ARP HEAD STUDS
COBB AP TUNE
350 WHP 385 TQ

Irish is your TC-SST running strong with those mods? No aftermarket cooler, or clutches?

If you want to have similar sound like your current catback just get a recirc DP and a HFC/Mini Muffler cat.

I have intake, full exhaust with huge downpipe, and meth kit after tune it put down 345 and 340tq and when it's cold I can really feel the tranny shift hard in 1st and 2nd. Then after it's warm all the gears shift a little smoother. After i do the cams I think I'm gonna pull the tranny and upgrade to 500hp clutch kits.

i have Zero issues with the transmission right now... eventually i will do a 600hp clutch kits from SSP before i go to a bigger turbo and meth kit. i would do an O2 dump. I am about to get one... it;s like 600ish from ETS. but yeah... i mean it is louder... if you want to keep close to a stock sound.. keep your muffler and tips... but go with a test pipe high flow cat and a Widemouth down pipe.

I'd avoid only doing a downpipe. The real restriction is the cat. After that, the catback, then finally the downpipe.

If you really like the exhaust, I'd keep it the way it is and look at other mods. Intake, UICP, LICP, FMIC, 3-Port, tune. Not necessarily in that order. Maybe change out your cat, and run with that. I'm sure you'll be happy.
