Evo X or House?

So here I am Evo-less, after selling my 4th Evo.

My wife and I moved to Seattle for a tech job that I couldn't say no to. Part of the move made me HATE my GSR. The roads here are horrible (track suspension + sectioned concrete don't mix), the hills downtown were a bare on the clutch, and the lack of fun roads around here pretty much killed my desire for an Evo. In addition, I wanted to refocus on motocross and leave the car splurging behind.

So I sold it.

Now my wife wants a X MR Touring (she will only track a few times). We would sell her Outlander Sport, and put it towards an Evo X MR Touring. At the same time we despise Seattle so much, we want to move back to Portland and buy a house. There are a ton of fantastic roads in Oregon. We don't have kids, won't have kids and love to have fun, but we're in our 30s and figure it's time to grow up.

What should we do? Be responsible?

I voted for putting it all on Black.

Really I'd say move out of Sheathole and back to Portland, buy your house and save for your next car evo or not

Focus on Moto it's much more fun

Is this really such a hard decision for you to post on a car forum? Realistically, get a house man. Screw the car for now.

Nah, neither of us want them. Cost too much, and I love me too much

As far as the decision, really just trying to get the communities point of view. We're pretty much set to buy a house. The biggest thing holding us back is we still may consider So-cal. Indecisive about where we want to be, but definitely not sea-at-hell.

Honestly, I'm actually a little shocked at the suggestions to buy a house over another Evo. Just shows how mature this community is, and why all of you guys rock .

Move back to Oregon. The rest will work itself out. Can't be happy in a space that doesn't make you happy. I'll never leave this state...

You can sleep in a car, but can't drive in a house, so why is this even a question?
