Then: MAP recirculated DP, HFC test pipe with v2 regular (still regretted it, was better than previous set up but instead of changing it again... sold the car)

GSR now: Cobb dp, ets resonated test pipe and cobb catback. I believe it actually drones which is annoying as hell (might not be the exhaust, still havent diagnosed the annoying sound, but for this instance let's say it is droning). When you step on it, it's great. Driving around without the drone i would say it's perfect for DD. However... I will be replacing this setup with MAP recirculated DP and full catless Akrapovic (akrapovic test pipe with it).

I would say, grab ets resonated test pipe and switch to v2 quite. Just because it says quite, it isn't quite compared to stock so dont worry. The exhaust note will be there!
I personally never heard v2 quiet in person, so I have no idea how much quieter it is compared to v2 standard. As I said earlier I'm still keeping my testpipe. Is the noise reduction worth it for the cost for replacing mine to v2 quiet? I was wondering if the difference is significant enough between regular and quiet. I know there are tons of videos on youtube..but they don't really justify how it really sounds. So any help would be greatly appreciated

Maybe you are my neighbor lol

On a serious note, I like the idea of just talking to them.

It's quieter than the v2 reg. but it's definitely not stock sounding. With a TP or even HFC it's noticeable you have an aftermarket exhaust.

I would recommend the quiet rear section. The standard V2 is nice, but it does drone a little bit. As I get older I appreciate more of the creature comforts and the quiet exhaust system is a good pick in my opinion and your neighbors won't hate you is always a plus.

I finally just got the following put on yesterday:

ETS recirculated downpipe
ETS HFC
ETS V2 Quiet catback

It isn't quiet if you ask me. Cold start up is where I definitely would think neighbors will hear it. It is quite deep. Based on the minimal driving I have had with it, I only notice a drone when I let off the throttle and the gear is riding high.......most notably 4th gear. The rest of the time, you hear it....but what you hear is the exhaust......because our vehicles are so well insulated

Hard to compare the sound for me since most of what I can compare to are muscle cars and trucks.

On my charger I had a SLP1 loudmouth and it was brutal....this is definitely much quieter than than that. However, I switched to a Corsa and that was perfect. I almost was hoping the quiet would be like that (only hear at WOT). Also had borla on my SS and it seemed quieter, even with headers and test. But I guess that is comparing apples to oranges.
