My letter came in the mail yesterday barely bought my 14 GSR 3 weeks ago. Reading what y'all are writing if it's a reflash to correct the torque in lower rpms then it's a waste of time, although my GSR does idle strangely when in neutral from 900 down to 700 and almost cuts off before it revs itself back up to 1k or 900. I was actually going to take it to the dealership before I got the letter and read what everyone's putting. So now I'm gonna follow this thread and see how it goes for anyone whose reflashed their pcms.

Judging from my '03 EVO VIII, if you keep it long enough, sooner or later you'll have a recall.

My 2014 X has a build date of Oct 2013, so I presume this "up to 25 Sep 2013" reflash has already been done.

I received my notice in the mail yesterday and just had my recall done today. There is 1,640 miles on my 2014 gsr odometer. I noticed a big change in cold start idle not to mention it's 4° in upstate NY. There's a much smoother idle. From start to finish the recall took about 45 minutes.

Please keep in mind that the "build date" is when assembly was completed. The probability that the ECU is older is 1.00 and the odds of it being several months older are quite high.

I went 40k with 150whp beyond stock on my 08 with the stock CMC, and it was ok at trade in. I just don't want some kids at a dealership ripping into my car, plus mods and dealing with drama, etc.

Other than a TPMS reprogram in the last car, none of my Evos have ever touched a dealership service department after delivery.

seems to me Mitsubishi is staying busy no doubt it takes a lot of time and research before they figure out the problem and issue a recall at least they care haha

wow, didn't know about this one yet. I know I have the acd pump reflashed already. I'll have to ask my dealer about this the next time I'm in. Is it all model years? I have an 08.
