Long story short, my passenger headlight was broken and insurance is paying for another one. The shop I brought my car to ordered the headlight and told me there's a gap at the bottom between the headlight and bumper. There's an imprint on the lens saying Stanley D2S. The OEM one has no imprints on the lens at all. Also, the stripes in front of the turn signal of the OEM one is thicker. Something is not right about this headlight they ordered. Is this the aftermarket headlight? Is there any difference between regular lancer, Ralliart headlights and the Evo X one? I'm worried the is going to use a certified aftermarket headlight.

I read somewhere headlights are either by Stanley or Mobis. The OEM one on the car now doesn't have the Stanley imprint in front of the lens like the one they ordered.

Also, they said the curve at the bottom of the headlight doesn't line up correctly.

 

Pretty sure that's an Outlander headlight, not an Evo.
