AMS Turboback question...

AMS Turboback question...
So when I 1st installed the AMS turboback with testpipe I got a cel scanned it and was for the 02/no cat which I knew would happen. I planed to purchase the 02 extender , So I cleared the code and its been well over a month and it has not come back. Does ams have the extender built in that prevents it from coming back? It is a 2014 GSR
