Aftermarket BOV on stock tune?
Aftermarket BOV on stock tune?
is it possible? is their ANY BOV that works with the stock tune? Cant lose my warrantee so i cant get a tune, if anyone knows of such bov's, please tell me, thanks (:
OP: in order for a part to void the warranty, it has to be directly related to the failed OEM part. For example, a cat-back exhaust does not void your engine warrant. But-a turbo does, or anything inside the motor.
I think that any form of ECU tuning probably voids just about everything motor related tho.

It can depending on dealership. ! Didn't say it will . Said it can , It don't matter anyway not much warranty on our cars anyway. I've had 2 evos and just had my 8 lowered they sent pics to the dealer rep. And wouldn't cover transfer case just cause it was lowered. Had to put stock suspension back on for it to be covered. It was dumb. I work for a dealership as a tech and there are loop holes but let's say u did put a intake on and down the road threw a code. Dealership can say not covered cause code has to do with intake area and the checkout will be on u. It's ur car do what u want
The k&n is just a drop in filter right, but does it still allow you to hear your turbo. If so thats the only mod I want to do while my car is under warranty. Or can I get the ets intake and hear my turbo without getting a tune and throw no codes?
