Will these wheels fit?

I'm buying a set of Volk TE37s 18x8.5 +30. I am just making sure these will fit with no adjustments.

They will fit no problem. Stock is 18x8.5 +38 so these rims are the exact same width, just pushed out 8mm further.

^ Agreed. chance you'll need spacers. You should buy some anyway to make them fit better. +30 is too high IMO. Are you getting a deal on these? If not you should buy a better size and offset

Just to be clear as to what the posts after the above quote are saying: the offset is fine, at least in terms of keeping the wheels and tires off the suspension and away from the fenders, but high-offset Volks can have very straight spoke, so the question is whether the wheels will clear the front brakes. I agree with the last few folks that there's a good chance that spacers will be needed to keep the spokes off the calipers, but have no direct experience either way.

More generally, folks (including the author of the above quote) need to be careful about thinking only in terms of offset. We have fixed calipers. These stick out a lot more that floating/sliding calipers. You need to think about the spokes clearing the calipers, rather than just what the offset will do to the tire's location.

Agreed, I didn't immediately think of that and should have included that warning in my post above. Unfortunately I don't really see there as being any way of knowing without fitting the wheel in most cases. I do know that most of the TE37 knock offs (all I can afford) barely clear the calipers with a +22 offset so if that is any indication the TE37's he is looking at might not fit without a spacer.

Most of the sponsoring vendors that sell wheels will be happy to find out if a given wheel will clear our brakes. That's what they do. Send one (or more) a PM.
