Grimmspeed EBCS

Hello,
I am just wondering and I was not able to really find much information regarding this.
But I have a Grimmspeed EBCS and was wondering if it is required that I have an external wastegate? Or can I just use my stock setup now?

You should be able to use the EBC with both internal and external wastegates. Remember what the boost controller does? It simply manipulates the pressure acting on a diaphragm.
