RPM Issue

Hey guys, didn't see this RPM issue thread so i'm starting it. I've recently noticed that when i shift, my rpm seems to be hanging for a little bit. Not as bad as if I had "flat foot shifting" setup or anything like that, but it's starting to be irritating. And yes, my foots off the throttle lol. I don't believe the X has any setting to help leveling out your rpms to assist shifting, but i could be wrong. I just recently have had the car in tarmac mode (I live near chicago FTL) and bought the car in December so maybe it's something w/ this setting. I just don't believe it is.

Has anyone else had this issue? I do have the Cobb V3 tuned correctly w/ their Air filter. I noticed it every once in awhile before, now it seems to be fairly common while i'm driving. Think it could be a vacuum issue possibly?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Does it hang in between shifts making it hard to rev match into the next gear?
The only time I have hang is if I rev it a little at a stop, I then have to push the clutch in and let it out (in neutral) to get them to fall normally.

It's a common issue search rev hang. It's common on all drive by wire throttle cars.

Yeah in between shifts. I'll be driving, shift into the next gear but my RPM's are still hanging around when i first shifted, they don't really drop when i engage the clutch and shift into my next gear. I do have a "routine maintenance" light that just came on. So i'm putting my car back to stock and have them do that. Not sure what its for or what not buy it's still under warranty and they said they don't care about my v3 as long as i don't dig into it much more than that. So who knows, see what they have to do and maybe it'll help. Besides that, car's running great

That's just telling you to get an oil change. You can actually shut off that warning if you prefer.
