Random Beep/Ding while driving occasionally

Tried searching for someone with a similar problem but I get this very weird tone sound inside the cabin occasionally. No warning lights, not due to the seatbelts because they are always on. It is a single tone/beep.

Anyone else have this issue?

2014 GSR with everything possible. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yea I hear it too. It is kind of like the Southwest Airlines ding sound but very soft and faint. I didn't post about it because I didn't know how to describe it. I have 14 gsr also.

It's very soft but I know it's trying to tell me something. It's driving me crazy though because it happens so randomly and does not seem to be tied to anything.

I started thinking it was telling me I had an email/text on my phone but that was not the case either.

I know the first time I heard a random ding was when it was the icy road warning ding. But this ding happens for now reason it seems. Does it sound like the southwest ding to you?

Exactly the same. Airline cabin ding for sure.

The weird thing is nothing flashes, nothing pops up, and I can't replicate it no matter what I try.

The sound doesn't really bother me because I can only hear it when there is no music on but I'm just curious why the car makes the sound.

i think it's the stupid FastKey dinging. Plenty of times I'll get in my car, it will ding ding ding quietly in the background thinking I don't have my key on me, but I do. Sometimes even after I start the car!

This is on my 2013, I had two 2008's and they never did it. I know they redesigned the key.

It usually happens as I'm going down the road.

I've heard that it can be the Navi saying something about location without a notification shown. But I have also heard the described sound in my 08 X when cornering fast. As if its a warning me that I'm ABOUT to loose traction.

It must be something with an option you have (fastkey, or nav would be my guess). I have a 14 GSR with zero options and almost never have music on when I drive, and I have never heard an airplane ding.

Yep I always do, and I only hear it while going down the road. Never happens while stopped.

I have a 2011 GSR and i also keep my key in my pocket and have never heard a ding while driving like that. The only time i can think of any type of a wierd ding noise is that it dinged and popped up a little message that my key fob battery was getting low.
