That won't work because they can't sell that other car with the options it lists it has.

Just bite the bullet and get the package. A couple extra dollars here = getting what you want, done right, direct from the factory. Any aftermarket solution will invariably be substandard to what you will get direct from Recaro.

 

I would just find a car with SSS package. Not worth the hassle swapping seats

you'll want the factory recaro seat and leather - the katzkin or after market alternatives are nice but they aren't factory nice.

 

Im gonna try and nag them until they give in lol. Thing that stinks is that this is probably their last batch of 2014s. So if the 2015s dont have recaros, I may just get something else.

I wanted the leather and no sunroof and decided after experiencing both I went with the Sunroof and Leather package. The leather seats are amazing and definitely make the car feel a little more upscale which it desperately needs. Plus they are heated so you can go windows down even on cooler days.

 

Not to thread hijack but what do the recaro black leather/fabric seats look like? I'm trying to figure out what package my MR came with.

 

 

The leather seats on the GSR are all leather. I'll have to take a picture of mine when I get a chance.
