ASC System

My ASC system service required light came on, did what the book said to do by stopping the engine then restarting the car. Did that the light went off , then came back on about 5 minutes later. I'm guessing this something the a dealership needs to take care of? Have also been having a slight whooping noise coming from the tires in first.

Yup. That may warrant a dealer visit.

Since the dealership will probably deny that this is powertrain (dropping the warranty back to 3 years), it would seem worth checking to see if one of the wheel-speed sensors is visibly broken. An ASC problem without an ACD/AYC problem is often a wheel-speed sensor.

Is it something I could visually look for to see if broken

Yes, it is sometimes obvious.
