Need some info on underpinning pannels
First I'd like to say hello! I don't actually own an Evo, I'm baby sitting one for my cousin while he's in Korea for a little over a year. Pretty sweet addition to my garage right? It's a beautiful black 2011 GSR. Before he left for Korea he dropped it off to have a competition stage 3 clutch installed. When I picked it up I noticed that several things weren't quite right. Several hose clamps were loose and the mas air flow sensor wasn't connected. The CEL was on which I cleared with his cob tuner. All of the codes were related to the MAF no big deal. I started trying to get in contact with the people that installed the clutch to no avail. Apparently fly by night and they've closed up shop. I took it to a local dealer and had all of the fluids in the drivetrain flushed and changed. I've been going over the car with a fine toothed comb to make sure everything looks right. I got under it to look around and noticed that the plastic underpinning pannels were either broken or missing. Can anyone tell me what Mitsubishi calls these or even better have any part numbers? Also if anyone has any advice on things to keep an eye on after a clutch change on an Evo I'd greatly appreciate it.
When you say "all the fluids" does that include the transfer case? That would be my big concern, and making sure they bled it properly.
After that check brake fluid level and the slave cylinder to make sure it's been bled properly.
As for the under-panels, if you're going to spend money on new ones I'd look at the SSP 2-piece under-tray. It's aluminum and will add a little protection, nice little upgrade. If you want the OEM ones, check the oem parts picture diagrams that you can find on fredbeansparts website. But they'll cost almost as much as the aluminum undertray.
