Evo X Purchase?

Is the car still worth buying? 23k for a 08 Gsr with 22k miles.

had it inspected today and these problems came up.
Slight Hesitation at idle
front brakes pulsate
Clutch engagement at top of throw. seller says its a stage 2 clutch thats why.
boost gauges dont work. BOV set way to sensitive/opening under light cruising accel and decel.
A/C dont work
TPMS Light on/needs service
Car seems slow, could be relating to BOV
RF Axle boot leaking grease
Suspension Alighnment settings are not balanced. LF/RRF camer differ by several degrees
oil filter leaking. scraped and dented from hitting the ground it is on coilovers.
front tires exhibit severe premature camber wear recommend rotation.

is it still worth it? LMK! Thanks!

No keep looking. That car has way too many problems.

There are plenty of lower mileage X's that can be had for around that price.

I noticed you live in Alaska. You might wanna look into having an X shipped up there to you.

Not sure how much that would cost but it's worth a look.

NO. Do not get anywhere near that car. For that price btw you can get a 09' or 10' with maybe slightly a little more miles however in prestine condition.

It's like finding another man's underwear in your girlfriend's drawer. Sure, not a big deal in isolation. It's the MUCH BIGGER underlying (and not visible) problems to be concerned about....

All of those things you listed are an indication of a car that was beat on.

If you have a local shop that can fix it or you are willing to take on the challenge maybe... But it isn't worth the asking price with those issues. I'd stay away. If it were 16k maybe... But not 23k. Low mileage doesn't matter to me on a car that is 6+ years old. My 08 has over 110 on it and none of those issues. Probably could find a nice one in Cali or the pacific nw and have it shipped up (or take an epic road trip).

You may feel they are minor issues but it is also a reflection on the current owner not keeping up with maintenance and would make me stay away...who knows what else is up with it

Run like hell. But seriously. Like everyone else said. No. Too many problems, and you never know what else you'll find once you dive in.

good choice rather pay a little extra now than a lot later when trying to fix someone else's problems
