Blue Headlights Without HIDs / ddmtuning HID Kit Help..
I hate blue light HIDs/headlights. First of all, because you are using blue, although you think it looks brighter, it is actually a lot dimmer because you are cutting off the rest of the color spectrum. Secondly, the glare in a non-HID or non-retrofit set up is annoying. If you want to do it right, get it retrofit, use a good lens that will give it the flare you want and stick with 4300k or 5000k color bulbs.
Thanks for the advice, I actually just ordered a set of osram nightbreaker unlimiteds (wanted normal color) after reading some of the reviews. After 6 years and 110k+ miles... it's probably time to change the bulbs anyway.
i just ordered a set of night breakers also for my IX
its time to change the oem bulbs on my MR
i just bought an h11 hid kit which i may sell off along with two sets of d2s bulbs in 5000k and 3000k
the colors just didn't do it for me
i will post a review on the night breakers once i get them installed...its just a pain to have to remove the front bumper do do this all over again

Dont waste your time with the cheap DDM stuff they look blue more then white. Get the Morimoto http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid-systems.html Get the 4300 kit and it will look almost like the factory bright white. I put them on my wifes 2013 accord and they are amazing.

Well, I went least-cost
and discovered where they save the money is in the ballast. The ballast cases were plastic and would kill my radio reception. The bulbs were fine.
When one ballast failed after six months - I ended up getting metal-case ballasts (~4x the cost of plastic) which I grounded to the body - which also fixed the radio reception. The better ballasts have lasted ever since...
Whoa... Just noticed... Sent you the link almost a year ago. Autozone has never carried that brand. I found them right away with a quick search on ebay if you REALLY want them. You can also buy some Nokya cosmic white bulbs (search). Identical to the Blue Zone's.
