From WRX to EVO with a few questions

Hello,
This is my first post. I just traded my 2012 WRX for a 2014 Evo x GSR. So far I am lovin the car, over my WRX its so much quieter inside and handles well. Ive got a few mods I want to get right off the bat. I am thinking an AMS UICP, AMS shifter bushings all around a cosworth drop-in filter and prob an exhaust either the ETS quiet or the standard not sure which one as of yet. I have a couple questions about some other basic stuff (Pardon my noobness here).

first question, i see that TWM makes shifter bushing and a short shift kit. If i get the AMS bushing will i have any issues using the base ams bushing with the full cage kit from TWM? or would it be smarter to go with TWM for all my bushing for compatibility/quality reasons?

Second question is just a verifiction question. I am also getting the Cosworth drop-in filter i understand that a tune is not needed. Is this still the case with the 2014 model? I hear that the tune has not changed so it should be fine just wanna make sure.

That is what i got, I am also open to any suggestions or topics that i should read about regarding my new car. Thanks.

For the AMS shifter bushings, there are two types. I'm going to assume you're getting the under-hood shifter bushings, since that is a popular mod, in which case those will not interfere with the short throw shifter at all.

For the filter, I doubt a tune is necessary since it's just a filter.

Don't need a tune for a drop in filter. Don't need to tune for intake unless you're using a larger MAF housing than stock.

I use AMS base bushings in my car, but don't use the full TWM cage. I have the Works short shifter. I would personally stick with all one brand if I was doing the full cage, though I doubt you'll run into any issues if you use AMS bushings with the cage. They're all pretty comparable.

I intend to buy both the underhood bushings and the base shifter bushings. i dont assume there is a very big difference between the quality of the underhood bushings. Im unsure about the gate selector upgrade. not sure if i wanna tackle it.

Gate selector bushing is easy, and worth it. All the bushings are relatively easy, cheap, and make a noticeable improvement.

Do the gate selector bushing. Made a pretty big difference IMO and took some of the clunkiness of the shifting away. I did Torque Solutions for the short shifter, gate selector bushing and base bushings. I like the setup it's just right. I have seen how the whole TWM replacement shifts and its fricken magical. But then again its like 3x the price
