stock clutch on track
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has gone to the track with their stock clutch? Im scared to take I to the track because of the launches and then my clutch will start slipping

What kind of track are you considering? Road course or drag strip?
If you're going to a typical road course track day (HPDE), you won't be launching the car. I've done 15 track days with a stock car and don't have any issues. Just make sure you have plenty of brake pad and have replaced OEM brake fluid with fresh DOT 4.

If this is a stock car please removed the CLUTCH pill in slave cylinder before you head to to the track. It will cause massive slip if you launch with clutch pill inside the salve cylinder, WARNING car will stink for a few days if you launched on clutch pill inside.

I personally wouldn't use a car made for autocross at a 1/4 mile strip. It's incredibly hard on your drivetrain and TCU to launch the car, and if you get excited and launch it wrong or get too much traction and drop the clutch too much you can nuke your TCU which is 4500 to replace.
These cars are great fun, but I would get a Mustang if you want to do 1/4 mile stuff. Can you do it? Well sure, but you need deep pockets for when you break something, and when you do break something it will be crazy expensive to fix.

You can if you want. Just really depends on the life of the clutch and your normal day to day driving. If you already rack up on miles so far then the strip might be the decoding factor in changing your clutch sooner than later.
