I personally wouldn't use a car made for autocross at a 1/4 mile strip. It's incredibly hard on your drivetrain and TCU to launch the car, and if you get excited and launch it wrong or get too much traction and drop the clutch too much you can nuke your TCU which is 4500 to replace.

These cars are great fun, but I would get a Mustang if you want to do 1/4 mile stuff. Can you do it? Well sure, but you need deep pockets for when you break something, and when you do break something it will be crazy expensive to fix.
