Recall of belt drive

So I just got my letter saying there's a recall for some 2008s for the drive belt , would the dealer still fix if necessary if I have a good amount of mods ?

Dealers have to fix recall items regardless of mods.

Drive belt? Do they mean the serp belt, or something else?

This is the recal info from the Mitsubishi website:
"DUE TO THE BUILD MATERIAL OF THE DRIVE BELT, THE PULLEYS IN THE DRIVE BELT SYSTEM CAN EXPERIENCE UNUSUAL WEAR, RESULTING IN POSSIBLE DETACHMENT OF THE DRIVE BELT."

Supposedly the drive belts are on back-order right now so we might not be able to get this recall taken care of until sometime in December.
