Low performance tires in the snow

Wow, that surprises me. I DON'T know as I have never driven the Advan's in the winter. I live in NE, and the dealer said they were downright dangerous in winter, so I didn't try. I bought Hankook icept evo and the car was an absolute beast in snow.
Another poster suggested all season, and if you want those year round then I think they would do ok and probably be better than your average car lacking AWD. I had Continental Extreme DWS on my last FWD car, and they were pretty good in the snow for a fairly low profile tire but that still is a 2 where the Hankook on the evo is a 10. Not even in same league. Hope it helps.
