Xmas Gift Ideas

So, my girlfriend just bought a new 2013 Evo a few months ago. Honestly, I know nothing about these cars. I know Mustangs (I have a drag radial turbo mustang currently)

I would like to get her something for xmas. Whether it be exhaust, an air intake, a tune or even something that helps with looks. I'm really open. I want to spend $300-$500.

I would like to know where to purchase this also.

Any help would be great!

If my Evo was bone stock and the wife wanted to spend that much on an Evo gift, I would want the Invidia single exit catback exhaust. I love mine.

Maybe lowering springs would be another idea, if she would never want coilovers in the future but likes a lowered car.

MAPerformance.com and Rallysportdirect.com are 2 good online stores to shop around for ideas.

$300-500? I'd get an ETS Intake, short shifter/bushings, open source tune, orrr maybe a nice carbon fiber lip. Really depends on what her future mod plans are. There are oodles of options out there for that budget though.

STM Intake would be a good choice, then a hallman MBC and tune.

get her an intake from ETS. they're in that price range and it really makes the car sound a lot better. You don't need a tune for an intake and it's very easy to install. The turbo spool will be a lot louder once an intake is thrown on, making the Evo sound better.

She might get annoyed of a loud exhaust, such as an invidia. I obviously don't know her, but most girls wouldn't want a very loud car- she could be different though.

Intake seems to be the better decision.

Intake and UICP. Might need a tune, depending on the intake. Keep that in mind (search).

I would love to do an exhaust but I would want 2 exhaust tips not just one. I do like the stainless steel aspect of this system!

LOL there is no way in hell I would get that broad of mine a carbon fiber lip! She would probably rip that thing off in about 2 miles. I like your other suggestions though.

We have lots of parts for the Evo X. You could check out our website. Intake and/or an UICP fits the budget and would net a few extra ponies.

Good choice, you won't regret the purchase. I've had my ETS intake on since about 800 miles and still love it!
