Here's the drop after 300 miles. They settled very good. I'm impressed. I'm using the GSR shocks and tire pressure is 34F and 32R and the ride quality is a lot better than before. Even in bumpville El Paso where the roads are garbage.

I got a question for you guys... I was going to order these springs and i called a few shops to see how much installation would be and most of the shops quoted me at $570 total to install these springs! Is this right? 3hrs for the front and 2.8hrs for the rear..

Does this seem about right? I have a buddy who owns a 9 and he says he can do his suspension in about 2hrs.. How is it the 10 takes that long to put springs on?

You're better off letting a buddy do the install for a case of beer and some food. Shops charge a flat rate for their service.. They go by the book.

I don't think it seems right.
The quote I got from West end alignment is 400 totall with alignment.
The quote I got from Road race engineering is 300 totall with alignment.
I actually went to RRE to install these springs initially, but they found my shock were leaking so I they charged me 100 dollars, cuz they already took off my shock and they would charge me for putting them back on the car.

I got new shocks and then decided to do it myself, so I could save some money.
It cost me roughly 8 hours, cuz this is my first time to install these springs on this car, and I am working on it alone. And I did run into some troubles and I need help from this forum to trouble shoot. The spring compressor was not very easy to work with, either.

If I were doing this again, I think 5 hours total would be my estimate.
Then again, shop should have access to more tools and lift. I think 6 hours is kind of slow for a shop to install these.

Well if you figure an AWD alignment is about 70- 100ish depending on where you go, those price seem about right. If you wanna save money, the installation is not difficult if you DIY. I am not that mechanically inclined. I can do all the basics but I've never touched the installation but I used the how-to on here and I got it done in about 8 hours. I took my time though. If I were to do it again, I could finish the job in about 3-4 hours. Plus (as I learned from here and my experience with this) you'll want to wait a bit for an alignment. I drove about 300 miles/ 1 week and then I got it aligned and she drives straight and true now. Just my 2
