evo x or 2015 sti

i am currently looking to buy one of these cars in mexico,

i currently own a evo 9 - 5 speed which i bought in san antonio texas, i have a vacation house there and i used to go once a month, right now it is impossible for me to go there and i can't bring this car with me to mexico because it is made in JAPAN.

i know alot of people will probably flame me because this is an evo forum, i love the evo but most of us agree that the evo X is not that handsome, i could live with it but i just saw the 2015 wrx sti and it looks much more agressive.

looks is not the only thing that i look at, are both cars pretty much the same in performance side? my mom has a legacy and i feel that the car revs pretty slow is this the same on the sti?

which should i buy? and why?

No flame here, the STI interior is just flat out better no doubt, but the exterior is what kept me from really wanting one. Speed wise they are pretty much the same as well, I've been behind the wheel of both. My main thing was owning the last real evo, vs owning a new STI.

Don't care about longevity or mods either, I keep cars around a year before they are gone and I'm on to the next one.

Yah I honestly think subaru's exterior is hideous. It just looks to me that they are trying way way to hard to make it look new and innovative. The evo is just perfect the way it is simple, slightly aggresive look. And there tons of aftermarket hoods, bumpers, splitters etc if you really want to make it look meaner.

I would go Evo. It's sharp and percise steering which the STI needs torque vectoring to equal it's rival.

Timeout for a second..

You realize that all the Evos were made in Japan, right? Do you mean you own a JDM Evo like a RHD?BTW, STi's are also made in Japan..

I like the evo.it feels light and response quick when I drop the gas pedal and the s-awc is the best.I drivin 2013 sti,it feel kinda heavy.pretty quick not as response like the evos.they have that symmetrical awd that is good too.I like the inline engine that's why I bought my evo.

I would suggest you go drive both if you haven't already and see if that helps. Coming on an Evo forum and asking people if you should buy an Evo is kind of silly, dude.

Yes, they are both made in japan, but if you need to buy them in mexico.

They don't lend you those cars to test drive them, they are very limited in mexico and very expensive, like 50k because they are made in japan They generate alot of taxes.
