Good luck with your search, I think you will be hard pressed to find a similar driving connection to the EVO though. At least you have the EVO 8 though
Thanks man and yes i agree, driving anything else will be difficult after driving this, but i got to see .

[QUOTE=Cosmic Starship;11371061]Based on your list you're looking for refinement in a car, not a cheap car tarted up with expensive performance equipment and basically no amenities. This car sounds like a bad fit, so you'll be happy you got rid of it. I personally like all those aspects about it, knowing that I paid 33k for a car where basically all the budget went to the performance and not much else is exactly what I was after.

Though, I will ask, what made you want the evo in the first place? It's no secret the car is as I described. I thought the raw and unrefined characteristics were what made people want these

I love the car had great luck with it no problems or anything, but as my daily car and being 40 lol i need the few things that i listed. At the mean time i do need a machine like the Evo though, cant see myself with out it and that is the reason i have the Evo 8.
Yes i dont drive the 8, but i got it with that intention to keep it

Dude, i guess u should not get the X in the 1st place... It is a war machine, not a cruiser for daily life! Even i daily drive mine =P.
Anyway, get a BMW or something else would fit you better. And the rest of us will continue enjoy this crazy beast/bxxch coz we LOVE it!!

I just picked up an Audi S3 and it's every bit as dynamic as my EVO X MR was. Even more so.
My A4 is beautifully quiet and quick with a decent suspension. Not near as fun as my evo 8, but at least it starts and runs every morning. However I have a buddy that has an 08 A3 that squeaks and creaks in multiple places.

Def an amazing War Machine!! but she cruises beautifully as well... I had a lease on my 2012 Evo X and I bought it out cause this car is great inside and out (i like my music loud anyways so I dont bother with the little noises/rattles.) This car is a beast and I enjoy it on a Daily! Iv'e had mine for 3 years now and I couldn't imagine getting rid of this awesome car!

Complaining about the interior of a 2011 EVO X? Imagine if he had a 2008 model. He would have pulled teeth.

While I agree with others in this post that you probably would be better off in a luxury car, I'd like to address some of the points you made for others that might be considering the car and stumbling upon this post...

That's what the volume knob is for.

I still don't understand the point of a leather/cloth/etc looking dash. Know what's under that? Plastic. You want your dash covered in something? Buy it and cover it... it's not that hard.... as for the radio, show me an OEM radio that doesn't suck (TESLA DOESN'T COUNT OK) and I'll show you a unicorn...

I cant deal that the back seats don't fold down.
It's not like they were just too cheap to add hinges to the seats... there's a reason they don't fold down...

Lease is up, Returning my X-s1uxja8m.jpg.

No trunk space? Well, it could hold a body of an average person... or you know... groceries for a single person, maybe 2 people...

If you've got a big family and this is your only car... I've got to wonder how they all fit... maybe consider an SUV? The Outlander isn't bad but the Pathfinder is way better (sorry mitsu, Outlander has really crappy towing capacity...).

Yeah, everything rattles in mine, even the stuff next to the car... But yeah... http://imgur.com/a/VdhuB ... that's gonna happen no matter what I drive. And trunk space? Forget it.

In all seriousness, you can fix the rattles. I've stopped most of mine... if I can stop the rattles, you definitely can.

The sad part is that Mitsubishi is over, i went to a local Dealer here, not gonna give name and they had Mitsubishi Banners on the exterior, no built in signs etc, they even had used cars in the showroom, they had one evo, couple Outlanders and thats it. I just feel bad, i remember in the early 90's you went to the dealer and Mitsubishi was hottest manufacturer: They had the Galant VR4, 3000GT VR4, Eclipse GSX & GST, i mean they had not 1 amazing car, but a selection to choose from. Out of U.S. They had the Evo as well.
This I 100% agree with. I hope they are just gearing up for a new product line. It's not USA specific because they are basically offering nothing in every country. I really like mitsu, and it's sad to see this.

They also need to do better QA on their dealers. Nissan, Ford, etc all send out people to check the quality of dealerships and make sure they are doing good, telling customers about the cars, etc. Mitsubishi needs to start doing that because I've talked to 3 Mitsubishi dealers in person, 2 were horrible. Not good odds. Compare that to the 5 Nissan dealers I've been to that were all awesome, or the 4 Ford dealers, or the 3 Chevy dealers, all awesome sales people that knew stuff about the cars and knew what they were talking about and didn't just make you want to walk right out the door.

I have an 05 and my dad just bought a 14 gsr SS package. My VIII is ****in raw and the X is comfortable. I have no idea where your complaints come from, it's. Or comfortable than my moms 335i....now on to the refinement, this is where I wish mitsubishi would stop dropping the ball. A 40k car should be put together to higher tolerances and the paint shouldn't be so damn thin

It's a good car, but not a Audi or a BMW by any means.

Friendly question, did you not research the pros and cons of the Evo X? I knew all the benefits and negatives aspects of the car before I purchased mine. I was well aware of the rattling, high RPM levels, horrible gas mileage and lack of space.

The optional Bang & Olufsen Stereo in my Audi S3 is very, very good. More like great. I've upgraded almost every vehicle's car stereo including my Rockford Equipped Evo X MR. No need to do so with the S3. The Rockford Stereo in the EVO X is legendarily awful. Its awfulness stands out among other awful stereos. FWIW they're are plenty of optional car stereos out there that are very very good. They just cost a boatload of money.
