I've had an SE and two MRs, but I lease them, so I can't do much in terms of tuning without killing the warranty. One thing I always do is swap in a K&R air filter...they really do make a difference.

Aside from that, I'd be surprised if you think it's not already fast enough. The most important addition I've made is a radar detector.

Maybe get used to the MR on your daily drive, in case you find yourself hanging out in a different Rev range---then pick your CBE for that note. I find myself at 3000-3500 all the time with 15 shifts/mile to keep it on the edge of big boost, all day every day in S-Sport with manual shifts.

=R3VOLUTION;11369760]I've owned one before.

Pretty much all I'm interested in doing now is swapping to a louder CBE and putting in an ETS intake and then going in for a retune. I had a GSR before which is pretty simple as far as cars go, just want to make sure I don't miss anything obvious going into an MR.[/QUOTE]

I'm going to swap out my axle back for the regular, or I might pick up an Ultimate racing CBE for cheap and run that for a bit.

Work on the exhaust system.

For a quick 10 hp, check out the sound of the MXP Turbo-Back Exhaust System.

I have a Youtube sound clip:

Get proven parts
Fmic
Uicp
Shielded intake (I saw guys without shields complaining of idle problems lol)
Just get her ready for a future turbo and clutch pack upgrade.
Tell Jester you want a more aggressive tune don't go over 27psi on pump.

I'm at 35Xwhp 37Xwtq for the past 50000+ miles. About to hit 111000 miles and I'm on original packs.
If you don't know, find someone that owns an MR to check/hear the shifting. They could comment if any issue.
I had a 2010 WW MRT 100% stock did 4X,XXX miles never clutch problems too.

GL!

I wonder how many miles of wear one launch causes??

Selling my ETS Extreme, want to go regular at some point but had to get rid of mine before my Condo association freaks out any more. Put on an Ultimate Racing CBE (Sounds great, much quieter).

Nice find, I have a 2013 that I drive the hell out of. You should get yourself some spacers for aesthetics, I just put some Ichiba 20mm spacers on mine not too long ago and i'm really happy with them.

Summer mode. Sadly one of the only pictures I have with the volks on and it needs a beefier tire.

I need to order GSR black hood and side vents, and ditch the chrome on the front grill and window seals BAD. PITA to find the part numbers.

To make them flush, I should have taken before and after photos. It's a huge difference. Plus they were only like $180, instead of $1,800 for wheels + the cost of tires.
